Grab your plaid and head for Memory Lane! The Nova Scotia Forest Festival runs 11 AM to 4 PM and is a showcase of the many ways Nova Scotians connect to our forests for their livelihood, housing, recreation, food, and heritage. Featuring live horse logging demonstrations, axe throwing, hands-on activities and heritage demonstrations for all ages, culminating in the Golden Axe-throwing Tournament.
