Join our McNabs Island Guided Tours on Sundays this August. Choose between a heritage or coastal tour. All our tours begin with a 30-minute boat ride departing from Fisherman’s Cove in Eastern Passage. Learn why the Island was important to the Mi’kmaw First Nations, and why the British built several forts there to protect the Port of Halifax. Admire the panoramic views and learn about the endangered barn swallows that live at Fort McNab. Explore the many beaches of McNabs Island and learn why the shoreline is ever changing.
